About us
However, Partnership Care and Support’s founding story is not just rooted in professional expertise. The driving force behind PCS is the memory of Simon, who passed away at the age of 8 in 2017, and Ethen, who passed away at the age of 5 in 2019. Both children had complex health needs from birth due to a genetic degenerative condition. They accessed services from an early age, including support from multi-disciplinary teams, care packages, and end-of-life hospice care. The personal experience of the founder’s family has made them extremely passionate about the importance of person-centered care, family involvement, networking, communication, and inclusivity regardless of gender, race, or age.
The director and his family remain very committed and involved with the amazing work of Shooting Star Chase, a local hospice that provides much-needed support, care, and love for the whole family. It was also the chosen place of comfort for Ethan’s last moments. We participate in fundraising activities and focus group meetings to support their work.
We are not just a care provider; we are a community of caregivers and advocates. Our founder’s personal and professional experiences have shaped the core values of our organization, and we are committed to providing compassionate and person-centered care to all those we serve.
